Renting 101

6:00PM, Monday, April 11th, 2nd Floor Ballroom, IMU

When making the decision to rent an apartment or house, one of the important factors to consider is your lease. And let's face it, leases are confusing. Furthermore, landlords are generally a heck of a lot less likely to be accommodating to unforeseen situations than the University would be. But don't worry, we've got your back. Renting 101 acts as a complete renter's guide, providing information to students about what to look for when signing a lease, how to get your security deposit back, what landlords can and can't do, and steps to avoid getting a disorderly house or other costly criminal charges.
